How this is estimated: Slab volume = area × thickness, plus a beam allowance (Typical adds 18% for the beams and drops poured with a residential slab). Nominal-mix volumetric method. Site mix gives cement + sand + aggregate to buy; RMC gives finished m³ (cement, sand and aggregate are included by the plant). M25 is hard to control at site — order RMC for M25 and above.

How accurate are these estimates?
Every calculator uses standard Indian civil-engineering thumb rules for typical residential RCC construction — the same approximations site engineers use for early budgeting. They are excellent for planning and ordering, but they are estimates, not a structural BOQ: real quantities depend on your drawings, soil and layout.
